New Nets Arena Opening Delayed Till 2010-2011 Season...Lebron Files for Passport

The New York Daily news is reporting that Ratner, the developer of the new Nets Arena in Brooklyn is expecting delays that will push the opening of the project back to the 2010-2011 season, the stadium had been scheduled to open next year.

The delay of the stadium will make the nets less appealing to Lebron, as he won't know what to expect in Brooklyn. Lebron has recently been quoted saying that he would be willing to play over in Europe.

He didn't say it but our guess is that Europe is more appealing than the Knicks.

Orioles Rookie Pitches 8 shutout innings

The O's, who improved to 54-58 hope to avoid their 11th consecutive sub .500 season, which they now will have to do without OF Adam Jones, who broke his foot in Monday's game in Seattle. He is expected to miss three weeks.

Earl Boykins Leaves the NBA for Italy.... No One Cares

Earl Boykins, a career bench PG averaging 5pts, .9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game, is leaving Charlotte Bobcats (his current team, he has played for 11 teams in 10 years in the NBA) to take a one year deal with Virtus Bologna of Italy worth $3.5 Million Dollars, making him the highest paid player in the Italian league.

Boykins becomes the 9th player to leave for foreign leagues this summer. If leagues are willing to pay this much for below average players maybe its time for David Stern to start worrying.

Did We Mention he's 5' 5"!

Brian Moorman is a Lonely Man

So I learned two things today
1. The Bill's Gave Brian Moorman a blog? Is he the most interesting? or the most well spoken?
2. Brian Moorman is a lonely man who likes to get into obscure arguments

"Side note: For those of you that don't know, I went to Pittsburg State University. That is in Pittsburg, (no H) KS. The GORILLAS. The best mascot in the country, hands down. Sorry, I needed to give some props to my Alma Mater. All I hear about in the locker room is SEC, ACC, blah, blah, blah. How about some DII conferences? I love trying to get in on the argument with "Hey guys, how about the MIAA?"….all I get is a blank stare"

Come'on can we get some love for for DII? For Moorman?

Poor Neckbeard Judgment Still Better Than Sexy Rexy

Busted Coverage recently put up this gem of a photo of everyone's favorite mountain man. Even after this picture showing his judgment we still would pick him to lead the Bears over Rex Grossman. He probably won't be THAT drunk during games.... right?
